If the television series of Joyce Dunbar's Mouse & Mole captures even a tenth of the charm of her books, then it will be something very special. The two cohabiting animals are characters that stand alongside the greats of children's literature, Toad, Ratty and Winnie the Pooh. They work their magic not just on 2-6 year olds, but on parents too, so perfectly judged is the humour, and so perfectly paced the dialogue.

CAVEAT:
The MOUSE & MOLE books by Joyce Dunbar and James Mayhew are not to be confused with the books of the same title by Mr Wong Herbert Yee. They appear in Google together, and are remarkably similar in appearance, format, concept, characterisation. Even though the title is registered as copyright by the Library of Congress, this apparently gives no protection to the original author.
